Guards at the border crossing in Ceuta, a Spanish city enclave in North Africa, caught a 19-year-old woman trying to smuggle a boy inside her suitcase.
According to Foxnews guards notice how nervous the young woman appeared while she waited in line. When an x-ray was done, they were shocked to see an outline of a boy curled up inside her suitcase.
“Guards immediately detained the woman and about two hours later, the child’s father was also apprehended at the border crossing.”
The married couple both have resident rights in Spain, but the child does not.
“A Ceuta magistrate on Friday ordered the father, who is originally from the Ivory Coast, be held on charges of human rights abuse. The boy is currently in Spanish child protective services”
