New mom Goga Bai has set a new record for the heaviest baby born in India. He weighed 13 pounds! Doctors report that most Indian baby’s typically weigh in between 5 to 7 pounds on average, so this little bundle has made quite a debut.
According to the Huffington Post, the 30-year-old mom gave birth on October 1st via cesarean section and while the baby originally had breathing problems, he is reported to be in good health.
The mom gave birth in a hospital near her hometown of Rajasthan in Northern India.
