In August 2013 Miami, florida resident Mila Dago texted several angry messages to her boyfriend before crashing her car and killing her friend and passenger Irina Reinoso. The revealing texts have been recently released.
The Miami Herald reports that Dago texted, “Driving drunk woo …” “Ill be dead thanks to you …” “Lata”
“Throughout the night, the then-22-year-old sent her boyfriend 60 bitter texts, including some that seem chilling after the crash”, police said.
Dago’s friend Reinoso was pronounced dead on the scene. According to a Miami police officer, “blood tests later revealed she had a blood alcohol content level of .178 — more than double the legal limit — nearly two hours after the crash.”
Dago is free on bail waiting for her trial to begin.
