A 20 year-old nursing student, Sandra Lommen, froze to death after a night of drinking at a house party in Minnesota.
According to police, Lomman was drunk and was on her way to a campus dorm when she wandered off 1.5 miles towards the creek.
Six hours later a passerby found her, “We believe she left this social gathering at approximately 2 a.m. with the intention of walking back to her dorm … It was a series of unfortunate events.” said Police Chief Mike Mastin.
