Carvalho lives in Brazil; she runs a studio where she helps women cover scars from knives and bullets, helping them transform the horrific into something beautiful.
Carvalho told the Huffington Post, “It began very spontaneously…my services are a hundred percent voluntary, and the only “cost” women need to invest is to choose a design for their tattoos!”
