Florida mother held hostage uses online Pizza Hut order to ask for help

It’s nice to be able to order food online and even nicer if you can alert someone that you’re being held hostage with your extra-large pizza!

On Wednesday Cheryl Treadway, Tampa, Florida, was held hostage by her boyfriend. According to Fox4news, “Deputies say Cheryl Treadway was being held against her will along with her children inside a home. Her boyfriend, Ethan Nickerson, had a knife. He allegedly refused to let her leave, and he had taken her cell phone, according to deputies.”

Treadway managed to regain use of her cell phone and sent a 911 emergency message when she asked if she could order pizza. She inserted a message into the notes section of her receipt.
